	|QuestionText=Quick tack-on here: Eli has darkvision with a range of 60ft, which means within 60 feet he can see in full darkness as though it were dim light. He also can levitate. If he moves around to check things out, can he find anything? (If you'd like the answer to just be no I can say he's too affected by the madness to stay in there long enough to see anything coherent, lol)

    |AnswerText=Darksight does function within The Pit... sort of. But the darkness there is unnaturally thick, almost tangible- swallowing up light as though starved for it. <br><br>For an averagely sighted person to look around in it, they would only see a few inches away from their face. For Eli, and anyone else with darkvision (or a similar kind of ability), it would multiply their strength considerably, allowing him to see multiple feet in front of them. For right now, almost all he'd be able to find is <i>more</i> dark, and more madness... though if he hits the right angle, he might notice some parts of the walls- moving? Or rather, what's on them is moving: thick clumps of flies. The occasional one might come bumping its way out of the pit, clumsy and slow. They seem otherwise content to remain in the pit.<br><br>It would probably be quite disorienting even while (or especially while) levitating. And for right now it's just all too thick, and too insanity-causing to struggle through.
