	|QuestionText=hello mods!!! i have some questions about the peacock theater, since they're not exactly putting augmented on stage (yet!!!!!!!!!!!!)<br><br>1. she'd like to use the theater for an indoor concert in early or mid december due to it being, well, indoors and a better venue size, so what sort of deal could she make for it if they're amendable? if they aren't amendable to making a deal with an augmented who <i>looks</i> like an augmented, she's resolved to use her shapeshifting ability to play a wealthy patron known as "miss r"<br><br>2. this is somewhat separate than that, but malkuth's looking to help dorothea get her foot in the door there too... at least for a performance, a minor singing role if nothing else, the terra-typing will make it difficult but as long as she's an anonymous singer maybe it won't be so bad for their audience. she's got audio recordings to prove her friend's talent!!!<br><br>ideally both would be asked about while augmented "appreciation" is a little better thanks to salvation day, trying to make it about something "new" and interesting esp as the days get harder and colder for all... little PR to bring about a new appreciation for the arts that "care"... but i'm no fool. it won't be easy

    |AnswerText=Oof, sorry for the delay on this one....<br><br>1. The Peacock Theatre would not be immediately open to Augmented-run performances. They have their own program schedule, and they are <i>the</i> largest and most prestigious theatre in Karteria. Sure, they recently invited some Augmented <i>opinions</i> on a recent show, and even let them come and watch, but to actually give the stage over entirely to beasts...?<br><br>They would also be somewhat skeptical over a heretofore unknown patron. Not that they would be able to tell that it was an Augmented playing the part- as there's few in the city who know much about what the different soul types are capable of- but there's something suspicious about it. Where did this person come from? What are her connections? <br><br>Which isn't to say that it wouldn't be impossible to do, especially if the request was to put on a singular show, rather than a repeated performance. If Malkuth could galvanize interest in the show, prove that there was an audience for it (and that it hit the respectability requirements and wouldn't profane the illustrious Peacock Theatre), she might be able to wrangle permission.<br><br>Approaching Patho-Gen for support might not be a bad tactic either, especially as Malkuth has a good personal reputation with them. They have a lot of influence in the city, and it would be a good PR move <i>for them</i> to demonstrate some positive cooperation with the Augmented they've recently abused (of course this would mean working with Patho-Gen, which many characters might not be a fan of).<br><br>2. A job for an <i>Augmented singer</i> in Peacock Theatre?! The owners would be very doubtful of this, and their position would be passed down through the managers. An Augmented singing with normal people would be a distraction to both the existing staff as well as the audience, if they knew.<br><br>The more sympathetic who work there might suggest one of the smaller theatres to start with, places that could be more open to strange, foreign talents, and to build up a reputation there. Get Dorothea's name known as not only a singer but as a respectable Terra-type who is <i>not</i> going to turn into a rampaging tree. <br><br>If she could get better known (with the help of some PR to spread the word, get more people curious to hear her), it could work that down the line Peacock Theatre would be more amenable to hiring Dorothea. It's difficult for even talented Karterians to get their foot in that door, and it's that much worse when that foot might have roots. <br><br>So presently: challenging to the point of being a non-starter, not impossible if she can gather some popularity elsewhere.
