QuestionText:	Hi, mods! I was ruminating on a Midas-touch type power for my gold Golem (with the caveats that he'd need to concentrate to do it and he'd have to be touching whatever it is for a while, longer proportional to the size/complexity of the object; it would take a very long time to change a significant amount of anything organic, especially if it's alive). I figured I should ask, though – how valuable is gold around these parts? Does this need economic nerfing?

AnswerText:	Apologies for the wait on this! Mods GOIN THROUGH IT<br><br>We think this is amazing. We would like to say that if Kalim tried this on a living thing, it would likely poison a person if he did.... <i>too</i> much of their body, or at least cause some unfortunate side effects, like rash, hallucinations, eye pain, nausea, fainting, or even just a general... <i>dulling</i> of their emotional landscape, much like what a Golem-type might go through in their Corruption process (but not as bad). He can give someone a gold ear and they might be fine. Don't give someone an entire gold arm unless necessary. They need that. (He can if he wants. The person will probably feel generally nauseous for a long while.)<br><br>Economic nerfing is a favorite term now... Gold is fairly valuable in Karteria and beyond! It's pretty AND monetarily worth a lot. We don't think any economic nerfing needs to take place, but the more Kalim tries to saturate the market with gold products the less it'll net him in the long run. He should be conservative about producing more and more gold products, basically, if he hopes to turn a profit with any of it. 1oz of solid gold at first will be worth about <i>30000</i> numis (or $3000 USD). After about 10oz of that, he'll be offered about 5000N less, and so forth. We'll let you decide how long it takes for Kalim to produce an ounce of solid gold, whatever achieves your goals in-game. Even with enough money, lots of ritzy places won't want any Augmented renting from them until later, when they decide they like the Augmented enough. But if he gets the money for it, he might be able to convince a moderately nice apartment complex to lease to him.
