They don't give off the impression of something <i>dead</i>, at least; for all that they're flitting around, in and out of visibility, a bewildering dance taking place in the distance, they don't feel disconnected, lingering in discontent or loss. If there's emotions to be picked up on, it's... <i>mixed</i>. There's some that are content, playful and light; there's others spiteful and furious.<br><br>They don't respond to any attempt to communicate with them, but you are at quite a distance to them. It's possible that they just don't hear it- or that they're not capable of hearing anything.
