Yes, one could bring a light source down into the pit, light it, and toss it. Creeping vines don&#039;t snag their prey so quickly that someone couldn&#039;t throw the lantern off to the side, which would occupy the plant dudes.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Once they grasp, crush, extinguish, or otherwise overwhelm the light or swallow it up, they&#039;ll redirect their focus to the &lt;i&gt;living&lt;/i&gt; thing in the room. Or... un-living thing, for Spectral-types. It isn&#039;t a permanent fix once properly in the bigger room with the computer monitor in it, basically.<br /> }}</div>
