Soul level &lt;em&gt;desire&lt;/em&gt; she could pick up on it. Eg if a human was kept alive for hundreds of years she&#039;d be able to pick up that the soul wants rest, or if a soul was trapped or not matching the person it was attached to, she could pick up the distress or discomfort, and when not anchored to a person/animal/host she could carry them, including to the void (afterlife). &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She couldn&#039;t have a full blown conversation with a soul, or anything that sophisticated, but tugging at them a little to see if they&#039;re properly linked to the body yes, alerting them to that she&#039;s paying attention, potentially, and sensing basic desires (particularly around where they want to be) yes.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Does that work okay? (Apologies for forgetting this fun trait of Northly&#039;s, we definitely know about this but it can be a lot to keep track of!)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;And the information she would receive would remain largely the same- though she might also pick up then on the souls not necessarily &lt;i&gt;belonging&lt;/i&gt; to the people she&#039;s talking with in Kelesis. The people do not seem aware of this, and the souls themselves are not distressed- that sense of contentment is genuine. They do not wish to be anywhere else. Whatever sort of situation is going on here, no one seems to be unhappy about it.<br /> }}</div>
