|QuestionText=1) I saw elsewhere answered that it's generally up to the characters to discover which Natural Soul-type they have, but would Patho-Gen provide a list of possible types? Specifically for those curious how rocks fit into having souls??

2) How utilized were/are ServiTons outside of the city for tasks like locating Katalyth/cleaning stuff up versus sending out staff in PPE?

3) How common is traditional crafting versus more modern mass manufacturing? Are there forges around for smithing (as potential work)?

4) Would Patho-Gen hire Augmented in any kind of factory and/or low level lab tech work stuff as a way to get some better Reputation with them?

ty again for all the world-building info!
|AnswerText=1. Patho-Gen would be able to readily provide a list of all known types to characters! This is something that they should all be able to recite without a problem, even if they might not know what a character is specifically given. So they will be able to mention the existence of Golem-type souls....

If characters question this (rock = souls??), they'll assure that it's definitely possible. Not all rocks have souls, of course- but ambulatory rock formations have existed in the past. An unusual form of life, but life nonetheless. There's folklore about whole mountains moving, but it's largely assumed to be hyperbole. Much like Spectrals, wild Golems haven't been seen in the wilderness for years... but no one's been out there looking for them for a long time either. Maybe the populations have recovered, somewhere?

2. The ServiTons are actually not utilized at all outside the barrier! If asked why, the average person would merely shrug and say that they just don't work past it. Patho-Gen will reiterate something similar- suggesting that the abundance of Katalyth works to block the signals controlling them, forcing them into dormancy. Others mention that they're just not that good at navigating rugged terrain. In any case: sending the ServiTons out for exploration or recovery is considered an absolute dead end.

3. They occur in roughly equal proportions. More modern manufacturing had seen something of an uptick while Katalyth was still used as a form of energy- but with that no longer being the case, the whole sector has stagnated. Forges exist! And hard, physical work like that would be more open to Augmented help than most places.

4. They might, but it would be aggravatingly entry-level to begin with. Limited responsibilities, limited access- but it would get their foot in the door. Particularly competent (and patient) characters would likely be able to earn increasing amounts of lab-time outside working hours, so long as they're not seen as wasting resources.
