They would want some control over what was being said in it, however- so if Palamedes was hoping to slip in a lot of anti-Patho-Gen sentiment, they would refuse to be involved unless it was edited out. (But they would have a hard time keeping him from handing out these things elsewhere.) If his pamphlets did pass their review, they would be a welcome addition to the bags. (Especially for those poor characters who don't arrive with anything and don't get a bag. Now they get a pamphlet!)

You're right that a robot/android character who could pass as human would be treated as human by the average Karterian (and judged only by their Augmented status). Even if they were told otherwise, they would have trouble believing it, or not interacting with them as though they were human. Appearances (fortunately or not) matter. For Patho-Gen who know better, however, the character would mostly receive the typical robot treatment.

They don't necessarily understand why something like that was brought in, or believe the robot/android is alive. They are significantly less concerned with their welfare or comfort. But looking (and acting) passably human would lead some of the (more empathetic) staff slipping into treating them normally- while others would be noticeably repulsed, deeply disturbed at a machine with a convincing human face. So it's a bit of a grab bag.

A capable android could interface somewhat with the local Karterian tech. Connecting with their Syntrofos should be possible, though it might feel awkward or drop out occasionally- due to the magic involved making a mess of the signals. They could also connect to consumer-level electronic goods, with variable success. Connecting with the computers of the setting would be harder, as they're quite primitive compared to the Syntrofos or ServiTons. They're rarely bluetooth (or local equivalent) capable.

Kelesian tech though... it would always fail. It would provoke a number of satisfying-sounding beeps, it would go through all the motions of working, but on the other side of it: nothing. It just won't connect.

Golems can be very machine-like! As machine-like as you want, really. And for a full Shift, something that size would be fine; it's one more way of getting properly monstrous with these things. Shifts should probably not reach, like, Godzilla-sized, but they can still be big. (And with something like Terra-types, for example, an extensive root network underground wouldn't exactly count towards height, while still being secretly very large.)

Would Patho-Gen treat an android in any particular way?

Sub-question: if they're bluetooth compatible and they try to connect to local tech in karteria/kelesis, how would that go.

Last question, technically two parts: How big can a Shift be, and how machine-like can a golem be? Like is this vibe too wild?
|AnswerText=Patho-Gen would largely embrace the concept of an Augmented-created welcome pamphlet for the fresh faces.
