It &lt;i&gt;should&lt;/i&gt; be Calling, it&#039;s usually referred to as Calling in the setting. That was just an error in wording...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As controlling is more of an &lt;i&gt;accurate&lt;/i&gt; way of describing it, but it doesn&#039;t sound as nice. And most Karterians would prefer to avoid thinking about their magic that way, that it&#039;s closer to coercion rather than just... calling a beast over, and asking it to do something! So yes, Calling is the &#039;official&#039; term for it.<br /> }}</div>
