It's battering at a cage it can't escape, it's trying desperately to live. The more its emotions are attempted to be suppressed, the harder they will rebound- provoking sharp, unpleasant headaches. But if Silver can manage to just sort of... coexist with it, it may not exactly <i>calm</i>, but will feel less panicked. Maybe it'll help those Corrupted traits come in a little more smoothly...?
