Hello hello, as I consider options for the TDM, I have a few specific character questions - or really rather two. SO!! Generally in the past I (and people in casts I've been part of) have played the "they are Swords, Harold" as the sword the Touken Ranbu guys are based on/carry are their real bodies (supported in canon) and damage to them/their sword is reflected. It's something I'd like to play with still, so:

1) I was wondering if it would be kosher therefore to have his sword-self alter based off the natural soul if I go with Kashuu - so, if he was a golem, maybe shifting to the mineral he is, etc? Maybe with a special form when fully shifted. It could be cool, is this cool?

2) Would he be able to get special permission to have his sword with him for the tdm...I know they were weaponless previously but he would be Quite Distressed without his actual body with him and would not be attacking anyone who summoned him anyway as canonically being summoned to fight/do shit is just what swords are For so he has no specific issues with that entire mechanic. He promises to be good!!! With the understanding he'd be knocked out and have it taken away if he tried anything (he really honestly would not he's a nice boy to his master(s) please)

1. That would be very cool, their sword-self (as it is their actual 'body') could absolutely mutate and develop based on their Natural Soul!

2. Because the Touken Ranbu guys are a particular type of being... they would be allowed to have their sword with them from the start. Patho-Gen would be able to tell that there was a very particular connection between their sword and their more humanoid body- and probably view it as extensions of one another. They would probably find this very interesting! But so long as he behaved with it in public, he would be permitted to keep his real body with him.
