simple syntrofos question that I realised I didn't know, apologies if this is answered somewhere and I missed it: do the screens work with gloves on? how about if your finger is wood/stone/spectral/scaled?

It is sort of a mix, actually! Normal gloves might have trouble unless they're those special touchscreen-gloves, but direct touch with an Augmented's body will work, even when those bodies have been converted to mineral, or are covered with scales, and so on (though long claws or talons might pose their own challenges...). Even fully intangible Spectral-types can somehow maintain a network presence. The marvels of technology!

However, were characters to borrow/steal a Syntrofos from an NPC, their screens would have significantly more trouble registering a touch through scales, and would straight up not recognize stone/wood/ghost as anything at all! It seems like the Augmented's Syntrofos have been modified somewhat to make them more sensitive to their peculiar bodies- or it's registering their presence in some other way, somehow.
