Hiiii it's me.

Just a quick question about the bridge town between Karteria and Kelesis. Are there any efforts ongoing towards cleaning it up, repairing the bridge, etc? Or now that there are teleportation doors, that's sort of being ignored? Asking because Mel has been contemplating the Augmented issue (specifically that at some point, some of them might get too monstrous to fit in the city proper or might go briefly berserk) and whether it would be worth cleaning up the bridge town as a sort of temporary place for Augmented to be if they can't be in the city for whatever reason. But wasn't sure if there was more being done here, if something has progressed, etc. since the June/July event.

Thanks!

That's not a bad plan, Mel, to fashion Aparallaxia into something of a haven for Augmented Ones, and it's not a bad direction for Augmented efforts to go in. Will Karteria always be welcoming of the Augmented, especially as we reach toward our first fully-Corrupted characters?

Patho-Gen hasn't been terribly interested in doing much at all with Aparallaxia. Any staff members who use the teleporters do not linger in this place, especially because there's no barrier there and are often using the teleporters strictly to reach Kelesis—and even that's currently become a bit of a no-go for them. Long story short, Aparallaxia is going ignored by Patho-Gen, and aside from prior residents of the locale nobody is particularly interested in its fate. (Not that those who once lived there can call it home anymore, given how inhospitable it would be to anyone other than the Augmented Ones.)

Perhaps efforts could be made to erect something of a barrier there at least strong enough for the Augmented to be comfortable... That would be entirely doable. This would be a lovely use of the space, and it would even be close to The Squid, who would be pleased to have Friends nearby!
