Oh dear. This would, indeed, provoke a reaction. While other conversational attempts or any sort of approach towards them would lead to immediate aggression, if Rowan were to use the voices of East Sophians, the creatures will freeze up instead. It's hard to tell if they're startled, confused- or whether they understand the words at all. It's a temporary hesitation, and they will either turn immediately hostile afterward- or they will do their best to flee. They don't seem to be able to communicate in anything but violence or terror, the capacity for language on their own part lost.
