Oh dear. That might just be possible. Or at least, there is a hint of something very small and metallic within the core of the tree monster (insofar as it has a core, as its body doesn't necessarily correspond to either human or plant anatomies, in its mutated state). It would be very small though, and even a sensitive Golem would have to get properly close to the area in order to notice it. But it is possible, and for a Golem it would probably feel similarly to the metal that's lodged into every Augmented.
