(tldr I just don't want to accidentally make the NPCs more aggressive than you intend!) Edited 2025-03-07 06:17 am (UTC)	That is a wonderful compromise! Patho-Gen is... Well, they have a guise of being friendly, but it's a collective group of people with varying beliefs. Some of its members may well overstep what is reasonable for the sake of science. It could be that the panel your characters got are particularly unsympathetic, or they believe so hard in the Natural Soul evening out the playing field that they must see it unfold. They may also say something like this, which hasn't come up explicitly in the game yet, but it's no secret: "Our first Augmented Ones were terminal cases. And they were cured by the Natural Soul! You have to embrace it!" They won't know how else to elaborate upon this further than what is available on the About Natural Souls section, but they insist it's true. Clearly this will just fix everything.
