Just out of curiosity. Augmented have been instructed that it's a dangerous source of energy and all, but. I'm assuming it makes the radiation in the area... worse.	Like many things, Katalyth does not particularly appreciate being on fire. Rather than being hurt by it, however- it's likely to cause an immediate flash fire in its vicinity, burning unnaturally hot and blindingly bright... and impossible to put out. Nothing will douse it, suffocate it. ...And yet, it will disappear on its own within a few minutes, with the Katalyth beneath it coming out not exactly smaller, or singed, but looking different all the same. All its odd nodules and crevices are in different places. And while it is on fire... the distress that's given off in its vicinity becomes vastly, vastly worse. If characters weren't hallucinating before, they probably are now; the agony they're in should be considerable, overwhelming, even scarring.
