Hello hello i am back again 2 months later to say that the consequences of this (ankle monitor) have been very fun to play with and have also been (to his chagrin) inducing some character growth in Eli! He is truly learning to regulate his emotions the extremely hard way...

However, there's a bit of planned drama coming up that will certainly induce some strong emotions in Eli, but I don't feel that him passing out in the middle of it would be narratively satisfying... I'm thinking maybe he goes to patho-gen and grovels at some point in December, because he wants to get a job. He swears he's been good (he hasn't- he and Cassius tormented the Patho-Gen staff member doing community service, but I'm not sure if they'd be able to find that out... Maybe if the guy complains... If he's still alive to complain). Alternatively, perhaps the anklet could malfunction? I want to give him a bit of freedom in this little sequence of events to be his melodramatic self, and once he loses Bricks he's going to go batshit insane and do some Bad Things, which I will post to reputation and can definitely be punished/re-ankleted for after.
Oh, yes- the ankle monitor wasn't intended to be a permanent penalty on characters at all! (Of course, should a character be a repeat offender in the same violent directions, it's possible to be reapplied as penalty, but that in itself requires them to be free of it for a time, so that Crimes may occur.)

After two months of (forced) compliance, it would be safe to assume that Eli could have had his monitor officially removed! So it shouldn't get in the way of his freedom to go wild, have some bad times.
