In cases like Bricks, i.e. a dropped character who has their body taken over by their natural soul, is their original soul still in that body? What would someone who can see souls see in these individuals- would they count one soul, two, would the two be fused, would one be dormant and the other active? Thank you! |
Thank you for the question. Though you are no longer in the game anymore, we will still answer this for posterity, and for anyone so inclined to take a peek at the state of Brickston's soul. In a situation like Bricks', someone with the ability to see souls (or sense that sort of thing) would be able to tell that there's only one soul in him now. It is "a Spectral-type soul", but not the same as the Spectral-type soul Brickston had been implanted with. For anyone who'd seen his soul and his Spectral soul before, they would be able to recognize what's left as a composite of the two. Clinically, it would count as a purely Spectral soul at this point, rather than anything human, but made of two blended entities. So basically: yes fused. (Other unusual drops or other circumstances might have a similar thing occur- it would depend on the situation.) |
