#1 wiki | comment Topics: Edit question: edit viciousabyss asked on Log - June 2025/Event FAQ at 2025-06-05 Answer date: 2025-06-05	Piggybacking off of this for the limits of the spectral "thoughts come to life"- how much can these manifestations interact with other characters, and can they harm other characters aside from the spectral one? i.e. Eli tends to have violent intrusive thoughts, so is a passing "wow I want to stab that person" likely to manifest as him... Actually doing that? Does he watch a clone of himself do that? Or is it not "real" enough to hurt anyone?	They can harm the Spectral-type, and they can harm all other Augmented Ones. If we use the illustration of Eli having a subconscious thought of "wow I want to stab that guy right in front of me," this inclination wouldn't even require making a duplicate of Eli. Instead, the person he's imagining stabbed is just... stabbed, knife and all, but with nobody there at the handle of it. It's pretty wicked. (... Something, however, keeps this stabbing from being anything super lethal. So if he imagines plunging a knife through the chest, the blade is modified into something very shallow and short. Interesting!) It's a dangerous game. For Spectral-types like Eli, he'll need to be cautious. (We also want to ensure that this remains in your comfort zone as well: if writing out an intrusive thought of Eli's actually happening is bothersome, it can be skipped!)
