I close my eyes... mods, I'm so sorry for these dumb questions. 1) For Aves/people with more sixth sense or empathy-related powers, what would they be able to garner from the squid? Or from Kelesis in general? (If this will be answered on the log, feel free to skip this question and tell me to be patient!) 2) When you say "attractive and scantily dressed" for the Smooth Grind... What might that look like, and would the Augmented flagging people down ALSO be wearing that kind of uniform? Or nah? From Adds on to here w/ permission: for characters who can also directly speak with animals, what else might be uncovered from that angle? let's not SQUID about the INK-SSUE! |
1. The log will have some more information on Squid Interaction, and on the approach to Kelesis. More questions would absolutely be welcomed on the log post! But empath-types, Aves (and also other cephalopods), or people otherwise good at reading animals, would be able to pick up on the squid being intelligent, curious, and immensely lonely. For Kelesis, each of the 'sensitive' types will have a different experience, different things they'll be attuned to. 2. It's not too scantily dressed, but there's some amount of leg showing. Far more close-fitting compared to everyday wear, items that show off a neckline, that accentuate a waist. A tease similar to formal-wear, but it's also clearly not formal, so it comes across as a bit daring to Karterian standards. As long as Augmented fit the 'vibe', they won't be constrained to a particular outfit- especially as the point is to show off those fine (but only a little scary, and most of all not dull) Shifted/corrupted features! They don't want those wings hiding under long sleeves, or lovely whipping tails to be disguised under coats! They want those features accentuated! Response to More information will turn up with the log, but characters who can talk to animals will definitely be able to communicate to some degree with the squid. It'll be somewhat different from the experience of talking to either an animal or a person- like some bizarre halfway point, something that had forgotten how to talk to anything. Its thoughts are LOUD. |
