Ice powers aren't terribly injurious to Tree-chan. They can cause it to slow, or exhibit signs of shock; produce that might have been available in a general area of the tree will wither and die. But it doesn't overall injure the tree very far. It damages parts of its body, but no substantial damage the way fire and poison seem to impact it.
