Golem question, related to malleability - I think I mentioned it in my app but since I'm getting closer to that point of his corruption: is it okay for a Golem to consciously transmute parts of his inorganic body? My original idea was to have Jayce entirely inorganic, but retain some more 'flesh-like' bits by generating/shifting some of his parts to silicone (mostly his face so he can emote, and also NSFW reasons). An excuse to make him eat lots of sand......... If actually being able to transmute his form is too much I'll just have the silicone bits happen automatically, out of his control! |
A Golem can consciously alter their body this way, yes! It'll take some time (as might be expected for a Golem), but they're ultimately quite malleable this way. It's also possible for these changes to happen automatically, their body remolding itself into what it was being used for a little at a time. Jayce doing this to himself (assuming that what he wants isn't running contrary to what he's been doing) means the process will go that bit faster. Being responsible about his nutrition also makes this experience both easier, and more functional (nice, sturdy silicone, rather than something that crumbles, or is full of non-silicone intrusions to bolster it, etc.). Any excuse to get Jayce out there eating sand. |
