|QuestionText=hi, a quick question: would a character who has a prosthetic be fitted with it already upon being released from the hospital? and since it's, uh, a very bad 1700s prosthetic at that, would it remain the same as it is in canon or would they fit him with a better and more modern version?

|AnswerText=A lovely 1700s prosthetic... We are totally okay with you picking whichever option you find the most exciting to play with. Your character could either arrive totally without the prosthetic, could arrive with the original already pre-fitted, or you could have Patho-Gen grant him a modern one that might exist in their world. Karterian prosthetics see a lot of use, despite lots of people not being adventurers, especially in the last fifty years!
