A lovely 1700s prosthetic... We are totally okay with you picking whichever option you find the most exciting to play with. Your character could either arrive totally without the prosthetic, could arrive with the original already pre-fitted, or you could have Patho-Gen grant him a modern one that might exist in their world. Karterian prosthetics see a lot of use, despite lots of people not being adventurers, especially in the last fifty years! They can be quite fancy for limbs, or as plain as you'd like. Eye prosthetics are often exactly as they would be in the modern age.
