so... if one certain miss pink elf (keynote) wanted to stream in kelesis... could she? is anything in kelesis weird when it comes to technology/live broadcasts that it would get in the way of her stream? are the kelesians ok with her clearly recording them (not so pointedly of course but they'll be background characters in her stream)? my idea was for the velvet claw's kelesis prompt; elysia is actually extremely adamant with getting to know kelesis and making friends with them, and since there's plenty of immigrants in karteria who miss their home, she'd love to stream her trip there so they could see it! in real time! way better than pictures or videos!! |
As long as Elysia is relying on her Syntrofos (and any other equipment she brings with her) to stream, rather than anything from Kelesis, then she should be able to record as much as she likes! Taking video and pictures of Kelesis works fine (and does successfully record some of the... bizarre attributes and behavior of background citizens), so she could take the next step and transmit these things live to Karteria! (There might be a bit more artifacting with a live-stream compared to one done within Karteria (or anywhere outside of Kelesis, really). The occasional strange afterimage, the feed cutting out for a few seconds here and there. But it still works overall.) Kelesians on both sides of the stream would be fascinated by this. The people living in Kelesis won't mind being filmed, and would be curious about what she was up to, and easily charmed by it. They would happily show off little bits of their city, their shops, and would otherwise leave Elysia to perform her stream without interference. And the Kelesian immigrants would be excited by not only video, but real-time video of their old city. Even if all the details aren't quite what they remember (which they don't find particularly strange, given that it's been so long since they've been there), there's plenty that's familiar, and the 'vibe' of the city feels right. They love the hit of nostalgia. There wouldn't be any touching reunions, unfortunately- as none of the immigrants within Karteria would be able to catch sight of anyone they knew from the past (though no one is particularly surprised at this either, given that it's a large city, and no guarantee that they'd even recognize one another after 25 years). |
