can't believe this wasn't written anywhere by us. so i am asking the question to get it on the radar.

What kind of photography equipment is used in Karteria? Syntrofos can take pictures, but are there other sorts of equipment available? HOW ABOUT VIDEO EQUIPMENT? For modeling, movies, commercials, studios... etc. now i play a guy who this MATTERS for.
Kraft Velveeta Dinner Instamatic Camera

Okay camera guy, here are some camera information.

Syntrofos are the #1 choice for the average consumer. They take wonderful pictures; they have good definition most of the time. They don't have any special features and can be a bit fiddly to work with, and you can't force the Syntrofos to have different shutter speeds, apertures, exposures, or so forth... but there are at least photo-editing apps built into all phones. Kind of like Google Photos. These are also a common way to take videos.

Novice filmmakers and photographers of all sorts may well use their average Syntrofos and produce great results. But for higher-end operations, or for cinema or any large-resolution media...

Proper cameras with lenses and viewfinders or screens are used, complete with flashbulbs or the like. There are smaller, more compact models for hobbyists or people on-the-go, like press or landscape photographers, and there are more intensive, larger models that are used in professional industry like modeling, portraiture, etc. These look old-fashioned to us, but they produce results that overpower the potential of the Syntrofos—they're just... more complicated and manual to use. Similarly, filmographers have bulkier devices that require manual input, but have the potential for more artistic or intentional results. These devices can do digital or film.

Digital is preferred. Film, however, is quaint; people of Karteria have the same affection for it as we do. The digital resolution of cameras is about on par with what we have today, but the equipment appears antiquated. Film is about as good as Kodachrome gets.
