Mydei... his return to the backrooms of death would net him the same experience as before. It remains peculiarly empty, hollowed out of any presence other than his own. Nothing has populated it in the interim. The sorts of fruit/veg growing in the local wilderness are roughly analogous to what you might find in the Pacific Northwest/Seattle area. Within Karteria itself, grocers somehow procure some varieties of citrus and other warm-weather edibles, though the amount has dropped off significantly over the years (and has only very recently begun to recover, on the reconnection with Kelesis). Though pomegranates (or an uncanny equivalent) might be an uncommon find in in stores, they do seem to be produced... somewhere. For general clarity, imprinting itself doesn't lead to the manifesting of physical traits on one's partner. As for pair bonding, the sharing of native characteristics (not anything developed by a Natural Soul) could start as soon as you'd like it to! It could happen right away, once that particularly deep connection is made, or it could take some weeks or months to show up (if it happens at all; there's no requirement that pair bonds have to share physical traits). Whatever is most convenient!
