I'm playing a character with an important role in their canon but limited screentime (see this). One of the other characters from this canon is stated to be "similar" to him, that said, so I base some of my characterization off of this, his few appearances, and the show's supplemental/extra material. I've reached out to what would be his canon CR (one already in-game, one on the TDM) and they've encouraged me to apply, but I wanted to ask you all just to be on the safe side -- would it be possible to app him to the game? (I should mention: Please ignore a good chunk of what I've written on his journal's information page, as that is pretty much just for memes/PSLs.) Secondly, there is a mineral from his canon that I thought would be fun to incorporate into his natural soul (prospectively golem). Is it possible to work with fictional/canon-specific minerals like this? (Another prospective player is also wondering if their in-canon sensitivity to this fictional mineral and how it impacted their body could have some odd/fun interactions with their natural soul, ex., by making them glow.) With enough material to write an app off of, and especially because you reached out to your fellow castmates, we are willing to accept an app for the True Real Elan Ceres. Please make sure that if you include any headcanon bits in your app, they are marked clearly as such so that we can judge the app based on canon info first and foremost, and we're good! We have had players sample from in-canon minerals (and other such flora/creatures) from their own canons, so our answer is yes. So long as the mineral itself isn't some game-breaking mineral that could Solve The Universe or whatever, that is totally allowable. The affects it might have on another character's being is allowed, as long as you discuss beforehand (which, it seems as though you have done this!). Have a Good Time.
