Records and gramophones, CDs and players, or is there something else entirely going on with it?	An understandable question... Given that Karteria's tech runs the gamut as far as technological advancement, we'll try to make this as simple but appropriate as possible. Playback devices: most of them on the market are produced to be compact, for some reason. Their playback is about as good as a $15 Amazon speaker is, which is to say that it just doesn't deliver that oomph a real enthusiast is after. As far as personal speakers go, gramophone-style units exist and their quality is surprisingly better than these small-scale speakers! They have the capacity to play digital songs, and can be hooked up to one's Syntrofos to play songs! These are what's most common on a more personal level, but these gramophone-style speakers are far pricier and are seen as a luxury item. With regard to performance, large speaker setups exist. These are incredibly pricey, but any good entertainment establishment has a setup available for loan or rent. Audio formats: Things like mp3s exist, yes. Digital formats are most common, but those old-style gramophone speakers will be the most capable device to play any format. It seems long ago, vinyl used to be the usual; these devices can play those, mp3s, and even audio from videos played on a Syntrofos. Recording devices: Microphones are the usual, but since computers don't work all too well for these kinds of things, people prefer to use apps on their Syntrofos to record and mix. So people who produce music for the market rely a lot on their Syntrofos to edit in post and all that.
