Hello, mods! This game looks really cool; I have a pretty niche question about my guy here. So, Dottore has split many versions of himself off; these clones are centered around perspective, specifically perspectives he's experienced over his life. Like, the one we interact with in game is from a time in his life when he was at his most selfish, but that’s just one aspect of the original. Other Dottores would behave differently. I like to play him in his 'prime' or 'original' form, the man who has all the experiences that the clones are made to embody. The thing about him though is that the existence of the original is theoretical. We haven't met him, we don't know if he's dead or if the act of making segments fundamentally changed him in terms of life and individuality. What I've done in my other game to sidestep the fanon nature of it, is just play a version of him that encompasses all of the personalities of the segments without saying specifically that he's the original. Are either of those character concepts acceptable? Playing the original specifically, or playing a version that does something similar without stating outright that he is that original. |
Hello! Apologies for our delayed response. Either option that you choose would be an acceptable way to play this unusual sort of character situation out in Karteria. Pick whichever one sparks the most joy for you. |
